Who we are?
Shooting Stars USA is a Florida based company that offers classes in firearms safety, home defense, and concealed carry weapons training acceptable for licensing or permitting in several States.
For us, safety is a core personal and business value and not another flavor of the day. Providing you with knowledge and training through our various courses will aid in your family and personal safety whether on the street, at the gun range and in your home.
Our course instructors, Christi Smith, Robert Smith and Paul Koester are certified USCCA instructors and in several firearms disciplines and programs too.
So, you have received your concealed carry weapons permit and are wondering what’s next? What you have earned in your CCW/CWP is a “license to learn”. Maintaining proper muscle memory, firearms skills and understanding the role of situational awareness are perishable skills that require continuous reinforcement in order to protect you from financial harm, injury or worse.
All are welcome to join us in our classes especially those wishing to learn or relearn the basic techniques in the handling of your firearms.

Countering the Mass Shooter Threat
• Class duration: 5 hours

• Course content summary:
In this course, you will review data gathered from 48 mass shooting incidents that have occurred since Columbine to determine what can be learned from these tragedies. By analyzing how these criminals have planned and behaved in the past, we can learn how to stay safe in our businesses, schools, houses of worship, or whatever public space we visit regularly.

NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training Course
To provide the basic KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ATTITUDE necessary to learn pistol marksmanship using a virtual simulator training system.
The course teaches basic marksmanship fundamentals, firearm safety using a simulated pistol with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit. The NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training Course teaches the fundamentals of sight alignment, trigger control, grip, and breath control. At the completion of the course, an NRA participation certificate is awarded. Students may attend this course as a basis to decide whether or not they would like to follow-up by taking the full-length Basic Pistol Course with live fire, or simply learn to improve their marksmanship skills.

NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course – Instructor Led
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. An instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end.
The Instructor Led Only takes place in a traditional classroom and range environment. This course will be completed in a single day format. To sign up for the Instructor Led Only click on the “Find A Course” icon. This opens the Course Listing page where you will select the Basics of Pistol Shooting-Instructor Led and scroll to the bottom of the page to enter details that refine the search criteria to generate a list of available courses. After selecting a course you will enter your information in the registration fields. The course Instructor will contact you shortly thereafter. Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.

THE WELL ARMED WOMAN (TWAW)
The Well Armed Woman is the largest and most trusted resource for women gun owners. Our mission is to Educate, Equip and Empower women gun owners across the country.
EDUCATE
Women will find everything they need to make well- informed decisions about the role of firearms in their lives, whether they a new or experienced gun owner. The Well Armed Woman Instructor program provides instructor certification courses to meet the unique needs of female students. We have certified more than 225 female instructors all over the country.
EQUIP
The Well Armed Woman has designed a line of holsters specifically for women and carries those that work well and fit women’s bodies. We carry a variety of products to meet the needs of the women shooter
EMPOWER
The Well Armed Woman also provides a community for this growing but often ignored group of women. Our Facebook page is a very active and dynamic community where we discuss and share important topics and advice. TWAW Shooting Chapters, Inc. is a non-profit organization that organizes local groups of women around the country that meet monthly to practice, learn and grow as shooters. Creating opportunities for women to be introduced to issues important to women shooters, learn safe gun handling skills and train together.
